Dear Parents and Players,

Thank you for joining the Gretna Youth Sports Foundation (GYSF) for the 2026 football season!  We encourage you to visit our website and follow our social media pages for updates.

• Online: Log into your account and use a credit card.

• Venmo: Send to @gysf-football.

• Mail: Send to GYSF, PO Box 514, Gretna, NE 68028.

Pre-Draft Workout

The pre-draft workout is scheduled for:

• Date and Time:  Monday, June 8, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

• Location: Gretna East High School (Turf Fields), 18102 Lincoln Road

• Parking: Enter and park on the south side only.

• Check-In: Begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Entrance Ticket Booth. All players must check in to receive a numbered jersey, which must be returned after the workout.

What to Bring:

• T-shirt, shorts, molded cleats (no spikes), and a labeled water bottle.

• Note: Helmets are not needed (if purchasing, helmets must be white). No food, sunflower seeds, or pets are allowed on the fields. Stay hydrated throughout the day to prevent overheating.

If your player cannot attend, email [email protected] with their name, grade, and reason for absence as soon as possible.

Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteers for check-in at the pre-draft workout, starting at 5:30 p.m. High school players will run the stations, but we need parent support for check in. Email Nikki at [email protected] with your availability. All families are expected to assist with cleanup after the workout and at home games to maintain the complex. Parents, please remain in the stands during the workout.  

We understand players may have prior commitments, but with the football season approaching, we encourage full participation. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to a fantastic 2026 season!
