Gretna Youth Cheer will focus on teaching the fundamentals of sideline cheer, confidence, positivity and good sportsmanship, while cheering on our teams!

Grade Levels:
2nd - 5th grade students can register to cheer for GYSF Football games.  Squads of 6-12 students, mixed grades for each football team.

Practices:
3-5 squad practices to learn cheers before the 1st game.  One Parade practice.

Games:
Each squad will cheer for 4-7 "home" football games including ONE - TWO "away" games.  Sunday Games ONLY.

Coaches:
Each squad will have a high school coach and 1-2 volunteer cheer parents.

Uniform Cost -- TWO OPTIONS
  *  $170 per cheerleader
        *  Includes skirts, shell, briefs, hoodie, pom-poms, and bow.  -- Must wear own white shoes & socks
  *  $250 per cheerleader
        *  Includes skirt, shell, briefs, socks, shoes, hoodie, pom-poms, bow and a bag. 
  *  Male uniform option available

  *  Uniform fitting date June 8, 2023  5p-730p @ Gretna High School

Registration Cost
  *  $225 for first child
  *  $200 for each additional child

** NOTE: Program discounts ONLY available within the same program (flag, tackle, cheer)

Uniforms will be purchased through Varsity.  A local uniform representative will set up a time to do a uniform fitting for all apparel items.  Parents will go online to pay for the uniforms through Varsity.
